Happy New year! It's so hard to believe that that is is 2013!
Time has been moving so fast! I know most of our lives have changed a lot during these last few years, as our world is so very
out of balance. Hopefully it is helping us to wake up to knowing what is really important in our lives and we are now finding
the time to focus there.
It has been a long time since most of you have heard from me. My daughters grew up and I bought a camper and took off. I have
been very nomadic these last 6 years. Exploring and experiencing new places, new people and new things. I have been like the Lone
Ranger out scouting about, seeing where I might like to put down some roots for awhile.
I have now landed in Central Oregon at the base of the Cascade mountains not far from the Mt. Bachelor ski resort and close to the
beautiful little town of Bend. An area that gets compared to Colorado a lot, although the mountains are old volcano's, certainly
different from the Rockies, but magical and beautiful and diverse.
I found a place on the Deschutes river that I now call home, where I have room to set up my studio for sculpting and painting and
also a class room for teaching. It is a fixer upper and I am really enjoying it as another medium of creative expression.
I have created a retreat here for Artists, Writers, Musicians, or for anyone that just wants to be in nature and relax for awhile.
There is a boat dock 100 steps from my back door.als My living room is filled with musical instruments just waiting for people to
come and play.
My sanctuary and retreat has a two bedroom two bath apartment on the upper level with it's own private entrance and deck, with a
view of the river. It is rented out by the day, week or the month. When I offer art workshops here, it will be used for a place
for people to come and stay while they loose themselves in the art that they want to create. You can get a feel for it by visiting

In my travels through Montana I met and trained with a Crow Medicine Man, John Frost who has past on to me his sweat tipi medicine,
which means that I have built a sweat lodge here and have been given the right to pour sweats.
This land and home that I have been blessed with, will also be used as a healing place and I believe that the Sweat Lodge is a big
part of that. It helps us to detox and heal on every level, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, etc. and it will be something that
I will offer to people who come for retreats and workshops here. If your lucky John Frost might be passing through and the real treat
is to have him pour the sweat!
I didn't want to loose touch with you and I wanted to say thanks for all the support you have given to me over the years that has kept
me going as a free and independant Artist, allowing me to follow my heart and my bliss as I believe we were all born to do. In following
our hearts we transform our world into our "Heaven on Earth." I am sending you some extra strength to follow your own hearts, I know
this sometimes takes courage, because of all the finacial stresses we feel, but it is what we were born to do. I wish you a magical,
and abundant New Year, may all your heart felt dreams come true and may you be happy beyond your wildest dreams!
